An inspiring annual Music Festival in the Camden Haven strives to deliver a festival of national significance that provides a unique celebration of fine and diverse musical experiences. Virtuoso musicians come together from all over Australia to celebrate the love of music. Concerts are held in acoustically superior and intimate venues, accompanied by country-style hospitality.

Ironman Australia Triathlon

There will be approximately 1,500 competitors, aged 18 - 75, competing from over 30 countries and from every State and Territory in Australia in the Ironman Australia Triathlon in Port Macquarie. The race consists of a 3.8 kilometre swim, 180.2 kilometre bike ride and a 42.2 kilometre run. Competitors have 17 hours to finish the race. The race begins with the swim leg and will start opposite the Sea Rescue Headquarters. The bike course is one of the most spectacular Ironman bike rides in the world with the cycle winding along beside the Pacific Ocean on the beautiful and undulating Pacific Drive. The three-lap course incorporates the City Centre and provides excellent viewing for spectators.

Sail Port Stephens

Sail Port Stephens is an annual yachting regatta held in the gorgeous waterways of the Port Stephens Marine Park, with the regatta centre hosted at d'Albora Marina, Nelson Bay. The regatta offers great sailing, a dynamic social and entertainment program plus loads of children’s activities. All sailing and race management is under the direction of internationally recognised and respected Principal Race Officer, Denis Thompson - with competition and racing to suit everyone from the cruiser racer to the hard core IRC competitor. Sail Port Stephens is one of the fastest growing regattas on the Australian calendar and set to become an internationally recognised yachting event. Port Stephens is an easy drive from Sydney in less than three hours, or fly from Melbourne or Queensland, direct to Newcastle Airport.

A day in Wingham where the 'town meets the country'. It is planned to have static displays, various demonstrations, food outlets, fashion parade, children's entertainment and many other activities to ensure a great day for all. The 'Expo' will be promoted through press, radio and TV throughout the Manning Valley. Rotary is seeking the support of the broader community whose business or interest would benefit from this exposure.

Stroud Show

Events to see include the Commando Course Team Event, Keg Swap, Sheaf Toss and Dog High Jump, as well as the Wood Chop, Ute Muster and Bull Ride, which is open to all ages from eight upwards! There will also be stud, cattle and poultry pavilions. A Demolition Derby will commence in the evening, followed by a live band, showcasing local talent.

Hat Head Trig Marathon

Each year on Boxing Day the Hat Head Trig Marathon is held, the running starts from the Hat Head Bowling Club up to the trig and back to the Bowling Club. With cash prizes for the winner, runner up, first lady home and over 60's. It’s a great location on the beautiful Mid North Coast of Australia. Children's race is after the main event. Register at the bowling club on the day.
