Where to Eat in Kingscliff

At first glance Kingscliff is comprised of perfect beaches, crystal clear creeks and a gateway to the equally beautiful Byron Bay. Not a bad start. But if you look a little closer, you’ll find it’s also home to some pretty spectacular eateries. Casual or classy, depending on what you’re in the mood for, there’s something for every taste and budget in Kingscliff.
Kingscliff Pizza and Pasta
Holidays mean Mum’s night off from dinner duty and what better place to feed the family than Kingscliff Pizza and Pasta. Enjoy traditional and gourmet pizzas including toppings like seafood mornay and classics like Hawaiian. The best news? They deliver!
Close your eyes and imagine you’re on a Greek Island. It’s classic Greek cuisine without the jet lag at this new to Kingscliff restaurant earning deserved praise. Try the mouth-watering charred octopus, signature 48-hour cooked lamb, and finish with the burnt honey brulée, figs, macadamia & saffron biscotti for dessert. Be sure to book ahead to snag one of the highly-desired window tables!

Choux Box Cafe
Your morning coffee won’t be sweeter than one brewed by this family-run cafe dujour in Kingscliff. Stick to breaky classics like Eggs Benny or tempt your taste buds with a bowl of Nasi goreng (Indonesian fried rice, bacon, veg topped with fried egg). We reckon their lunch menu of sandwiches pair perfectly with a beach side picnic!

Kingscliff Beach Hotel
If you’re a local, The Kingy is the best spot for a bite to eat with an epic view of the Pacific Ocean. A historic venue, built in 1903, this tastefully renovated hotel is your best pick for classic pub fare, seafood specials (we recommend the crab linguine!) or a well-done rump steak!
Seafood is serious business and Fins have more than 20 years of serving locals and visitors alike organic produce and the very best local, line caught fish and seafood. Inspired by chef’s travels near and far, their menu interprets seafood with flavour and more than your typical fish and chips wrapped in newspaper. One meal at Fins and you’ll soon understand why they are Australia’s most awarded regional seafood restaurant!
